There is a list of companies who had closed forums and favored discord, the list goes on with Gearbox, Bethesda, and Eurogamer….
The OG folks have always backed forum over discord, maybe because it’s an open platform and the contents are available via google search/easily accessible …
Now Discord just upped its game by introducing forum functionality in discord, with a moderator bot “AutoMod”. It’s no more discord vs forum, it’s Discord Forum. Looking fwd to more studios switching to Discord Forum 😃
