In 2026, everyone has an AI suite. So does Unity, but they already tried this in 2023 under the name Muse.
They killed it in 2024, during their stint with cost cuts and restructuring.
What does Muse do: Help you with texture and sprite generation. Sat outside the editor - more of a side product, not part of your workflow.
How Unity AI is different from Muse:
Built into the Unity Editor
AI Gateway for third-party model integration, MCP server for IDE & external LLM access
Asset generators: materials, sounds, cubemaps, 2D & 3D
