Hey Friends, Greetings from Bangalore 💗
AI baked into the experience — and we’re seeing it clearly from Sony + Nintendo.
Sony (reported/patented): AI inside gameplay
Sony has patented an AI “ghost” support system that can help when players get stuck.
It’s not a pre-loaded tutorial — it evaluates your live gameplay state and guides you in-context.
This is a retention + accessibility play.
Less frustration = fewer rage quits.
Nintendo (expected): AI inside rendering
Games can run at lower internal resolution (720p-ish) and AI reconstructs output closer to 4K in docked mode.
Meaning: less performance stress for devs, better visuals for players.
And Xbox?
They’re integrating Copilot and pushing ecosystem-first.
So the question becomes:
Is Xbox still competing as hardware… or as a distribution platform?
AI is quietly becoming the layer that reduces:
» dev pain
» player churn
» hardware limits
What excites you more?
